Hi everyone!
I know I’m a little late, but I’m back from the DC Games which took place two weeks ago and let me just say…I really had a blast!
I attended two out of three of the tapings for the actual games. My spot, each time, was in the front row of seats – next to the dug out – where the stars would walk in and out often. They also took some time to meet & greet with the fans in between takes – this is when I got to meet Chelsea for the first time, and honestly, she really IS a sweetheart.
The tapings were from 10am – 7pm and it basically consisted of a lot of sitting and waiting. I had a friend hold my seat one time, so I could actually go and attempt to watch the games. I could see some things but for the most part, the stars were pretty far away…so I just went back to my seat and watched them on the big screen they had on the side of the stage (which was set up for the concert).
As for Saturday’s events…before we got into the concert portion, they did a couple tapings for the “winner” of the games. Well, since we don’t know which team has won yet, they had to do 4 different takes – one for each team. Then the Cheetah Girls performed a song and all the team members, and fans, danced a long. It was then time for the concert to start. Chelsea was in attendance with the other DC stars, over to the left side of the stage, in a nice little section that was set up just for the VIPs. I had a nice, front row view myself.
